We traveled to the Monterey Area in July and stayed at the Moss Landing KOA Express. We tend to stay here because we love the area and the park.
On this trip, and visited:
1) Point Pinos Lighthouse in Pacific Grove
2) San Carlos Beach, Old FIsherman’s Wharf, and the Monterey Historic State Park in Monterey
3) Mission Nature Trail Preserve in Carmel
4) Garrapata State Park south of Point Lobos on the coast.

We had a great get-away to the cool of the coast, and the 5 days away ended all too soon. However, we were already planning for and looking forward to our next RV trip up to Washington state and down the Oregon coast.
