The last stop of our Central Coast trip was at Paso Robles. We like staying at Cava Robles. The sites are nice and big, the park is well run, and I can bike ride from the park.

While it’s inland, it’s a short drive to the coast on hwy 46, and one of the most beautiful drives in California. From Paso Robles, you first drive past hills filled with vineyards, then up to the top of the coast range. From here you can spot Morro Rock.

Then down the other side to Cambria and the coast. We love to eat lunch in Cambria (try Linn’s Easy As Pie Shop & Cafe) and then walk along the boardwalk that starts at Moon Stone Beach Park. It’s a great way to spend a day.

What a great RV trip. Starting from the San Francisco Bay Area, to Pismo/Avila Beach, Buellton, Ventura and Carpinteria, Paso Robles and Cambria, and back home.

We came back refreshed and grateful we live near such natural beauty. In fact, we’ve already started booking our return trip next year!
