This trip, our second Thanksgiving at New Brighton, was just as enjoyable as our previous RV trips there, with great walks along the beach, and walks into Caipola, which include pizza at Pizza my Heart and coffee at Mr. Toots (including their cinnamon coffe with whipped cream that they make themselves).
This time, we decided to have Thanksgiving dinner at Shadow Brook restaurant, located just up the river that empties into Capitola Beach.
We have eaten there many times, and this visit met the same high standards for good food and an great evening. Here’s a photo of my lovely daughter who joined us. She recently graduated from Santa Clara University and is now working in the Silicon Valley, so it was great spending some time with her.
We had a great time in Capitola, and we are already looking forward to our next RV trip to Aptos, CA and the Seacliff State Beach.
New Brighton Beach has such a great campground. We camped there 10 years ago with my husband and children when we took a cross country trip from NJ. It looks like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving there.
Thanks for the comment! Yes, we had a great time and feel really blessed to live only an hour from such a great state park.
